Celebrate Lunar Year 2020 of the Rat with Couplet! This couplet calligraphy roughly translates to the Right side: Good luck and full wishes in everything; Left side: Healthy peaceful and goes well in every family.
These persimmons are a symbol of fortune, and the peanuts are a symbol of longevity.
In Chinese astrology, each year is related to a Chinese zodiac animal according to the 12-year cycle. In order, the 12 animals are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig. Each year is associated with a zodiac animal. 2020 is the Year of Rat.
